Don't look at your hand until the action gets to you. Your first look at your hand will be more objective and your reaction regarding how to play it will be more involuntary and therefore less biased. If you look at your hand right away, you give yourself time to change your mind about how to play it, and if you're a typical player, the most common error you'll make is to decide to play it when it's really an unplayable hand.
